Tuition Schedule 2010-2011 School Year

Student Evaluation Fee $100.00 (new students only: Nursery-8th grade)

Applicat1ions for Admission must be accompanied with a $100 non-refundable check per student, made out to The Hebrew Academy. New students seeking admittance to Pre-k through 8^th grade must first be evaluated by the Committee on Admission.

Enrollment Deposit $500.00

Upon the recommendation of the Admissions Committee for acceptance, a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 should be submitted with a signed Enrollment Contract. The deposit is deducted from the tuition fees listed below.

Tuition/Early Enrollment Discount/Payment Plans

Tuition Fees are assessed as per the table below, and are to be paid in accordance with the terms dictated on the Enrollment Contract. Ancillary fees such as PTA membership, trips and nit-checking are not included.

To qualify for the Early Enrollment Discount, application for admittance and a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $500 must be submitted on or before May 1, 2010 to qualify. A discount $250 per student will be applied, as indicated below.

Early Care: for 8:30-9:30 AM add $950    for 8:00-9:30 AM add $1700         After Care: for 3:30-4:30 PM  add $950

The Hebrew Academy offers the following four payment plans to meet the needs of our parents. Please note that we do not accept monthly post-dated checks.

1. Payment in Full – Pay full tuition (check or cash) by Aug. 1, 2010 and receive a 2% tuition discount.
2. Payments through the FACTS Tuition Management Program – Monthly tuition payments are deducted from your checking account. FACTS Tuition Management Company charges $41 per family for this service.
3. Monthly credit card payments charge – Pay monthly tuition by credit card- Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. A Credit Card Authorization Form must be filled out, and your card will be charged on the 1st of the month. A 2.5% surcharge will be added for MasterCard or Visa; 3.0% for American Express.
4. Two post-dated checks –one check for 50% of the tuition dated August 1, 2010; the second check to be dated Dec. 15, 2010.

Building Fund Contribution

$3000 payable over 6 years, beginning with 1^st grade. Post-dated checks are to be made out to Chabad of Rockland for $250 each, one dated Dec. 1, 2010, and the other May. 1, 2011, and are to be submitted with the Enrollment Contract. The Building Fund Contribution is tax-deductable.

Financial Aid

Tuition assistance is awarded on the basis of need and availability of funds. All applicants are considered for enrollment independent of request for assistance. Please check the appropriate box on the application (04) to receive financial aid information by mail.
