Dear Parents:
During the month of February, there are several exciting events happening at The Hebrew Academy.
Thursday, February 16th:
On Thursday, February 16th we will be participating in the Rockland Read-In which promotes reading as a fun activity. On that day during your child’s Language Arts period, the students will be allowed to read whatever book/magazine they would like – just for the pleasure of reading. Students are encouraged to bring in pillows, which will provide an atmosphere that is a lot more casual.
On Tuesday, February 15th, the students will be making bookmarks in school. This will help to promote excitement for the Read-in.
Tuesday, February 28th:
Beginning at 7:00 p.m., we will be conducting our first Family Math Night. You and your child/ren will participate in fun math activities. Various tables will be set up in the Shul at which math games at different skill levels will be arranged. Entertainment will be provided. Our wonderful choir will be performing for you. It is a great opportunity for you and your child to have a fun learning experience
