Dear Parents:
Get ready! Get set! This week we are learning the letter “I”! Therefore, we are planning a trip to Israel. A trip that we will never forget!
On Wednesday, December 23, 2010, we will be taking an imaginary trip to Israel.
The children will be visiting and exploring many exciting and wonderful sites. We will be visiting the Kotel and other holy sites. The children will become familiarized with what a typical marketplace looks like, exposed to a different culture, and taste some Israeli food.
In order to make our trip more realistic, we need pictures, souvenirs and/or mementos. If you have any of these items that you would be willing to share with us, we would truly appreciate it. They would make our trip more memorable.
We are all looking forward to this very exciting and unforgettable trip!
Sincerely,
Morah Rivka

I loved the· Chanukah Fair. There was cotton candy, lollipops,· soda, snacks and amazing booths. I am not sure what other people did but for my class we did a puppet show. I was the one giving out tickets if people were being good during the puppet show. I got cotton candy for one dollar. It was so,so, good. I wish next year it will be as good as this time. The puppet show was not so good because the music was way too loud. I wish it to be better next year. I hope you will love the Chanukah Fair, but you will!! Please give a good thank to Mrs. Garbar because it was all because of her and our 3rd grade.

Dear Parents:
This week we will be learning about the letter "H". We will be learning all about our House and what makes a House a Home.
Please send in some pictures of family members, so that we can put them in our House. This will provide the students with a social/emotional connection between Home and the school and help them feel/realize this connection throughout the day.
Kindly send in snack and drinks for this month.
Sincerely,
Morah Rivka

Dear Parents,
Being that the Toddlers are very light sleepers we ask that you do not enter the classroom to pick up your child if he/she is to be picked up before 3:00 pm. Please knock gently on the door and the teacher will gather your child with his/her things and bring him/her out to you.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
