Did you know that you can help The Hebrew Academy just by voting?
Kohl’s is giving away $500,000 to each of 20 schools though a Facebook voting contest.
Each person has 20 votes and you can vote for each school up to 5 times. There is no cost involved and it only takes a minute or two. I am asking you to PLEASE participate and cast your 5 votes for The Hebrew Academy.
As with most small and/or private schools, fundraising is difficult and time consuming. Just a few minutes of your time could help The Hebrew Academy.
Please forward this link to as many people as you can. Your vote can make a tremendous difference to our school!!!

The deadline is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 30, 2010, for Tuition Assistance Application Forms to be submitted to school.
We regret that any applications submitted after that date will not be considered without a $50 late charge and only after the timely applications have been considered.
Mazal Tov to The Hebrew Academy student, Yonatan Ratson, 6th Grade, 2nd Place Winner in Artscroll's WRITE, DRAW AND WIN CONTEST! Yonatan was awarded $350 to purchase Artscroll books. Yonatan's story was chosen from among 2,000 other entries from over 100 schools in United States, England and Israel.
Yonatan's exciting story (reprinted below) dramatized the harrowing and courageous experiences that his grandfather, Nathan Greenstein, encountered during the Holocaust. Yonatan's retelling of his grandfather's experience was written in a very inspiring and moving way.
We are proud of you, Yonatan! May this award inspire you to read many more Jewish books and perhaps even write a book one day!
Since last week was the last week for pizza, please remember to send lunch with your child tomorrow, Friday, June 18, 2010.
There will not be any pizza tomorrow.
Have a great night :)
