A BIG Thank You to some very special people who have worked very hard to promote our fantastic school at The Jewish Fair, today, in New Rochelle (see our Facebook page 

  • To our PTA President, Mrs. Nechama Fish, who put in countless hours till the very wee hours of the morning to help create the booth.
  • Mr. Mayer Perline who gave up his Motzei Shabbat to create the information forms and all-around helper.
  • To Zachary Fish and Zalmy Kotlarsky, who helped create the brochures and signs.
  • To Mr. Levi Sabol, Aron Dov Sabol (4th Grade) and Gabi Sabol (Kindergarten), Mrs. Rachel Shachar, Mrs. Gneshe Bron and Mrs. Chupie Kleinberger, who woke up early on Sunday morning (!!) and dedicated their Sunday morning to The Hebrew Academy and drive out to the Fair and help shlep, create and staff the booth.

Jewish Fair this Sunday

The Hebrew Academy is so proud to participate in the 2nd annual Tri-State Area Regional Jewish Day School, Yeshiva and Camp Fair this Sunday, November 16 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Beth El Synagogue Center in New Rochelle.

Each family attending the fair will be eligible to win a $1,000 scholarship to any school attending the fair of which The Hebrew Academy is a part.

Help Needed for Grandparents Day

Dear Parents,

Grandparents (or Special Person) Day is coming up next week, Thursday, November 20.

We need volunteers for the following areas:

  • shop for refreshments
  • set up refreshments am and/or pm
  • clean up from refreshments am and/or pm
  • direct visitors

Transportation Reminder

REMINDER!!!!!!!

There will be NO bus transportation for ALL school districts tomorrow, November 4, 2014.

Please be sure to drop off your children on time. School begins promptly at 8:45am for grades K-7th.

Pick-up is as follows:

  • Grades K-4th - dismissal is at 4:40 pm sharp!
  • Grades 5th-7th - dismissal is at 5:10 pm sharp!

Grandparents Day

Dear Parents,

Grandparents Day has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2014. (Originally scheduled for November 5).

You will be receiving a note requesting your child's grandparents' postal information. Please complete the form and return to school by Monday, November 3, 2014.

The students will address the invitation for Grandparents Day and the school will post the invite. Please submit the information for both maternal and paternal grandparents.

You can invite a special guest such as an uncle, aunt, etc. should the child not have a grandparent not be able to attend.
